Under the blazing sun of Ouagadougou, Yao Samuel alias Masta, wanders across the streets of the city carrying a sewing machine on his shoulder and snapping a pair of scissors to attract his clientele. He fixes clothes on the go, gaining around 150 FCFA for each patched up item of clothing. Masta is saving up a part of the money he earns in order to accomplish his life-long dream: to go to the US.
